Creamy cookie dough sprinkled with pretty Valentine M&M’s and large semi-sweet chocolate chips.
What comes to mind when you think of Valentine’s Day? For me it’s…
Love. Chocolate. Kindness. Hearts. Thoughtfulness. Cupid. Romance. Pink.
And I love spoiling my family on this special day to show how much I love them.
I like to spruce up the house, play music, light candles, cook a delicious meal, and of course make something sinfully sweet for dessert.
As far as my husband goes, the dessert thing is the best part. His sweet tooth is never ending, and for that I am thankful that he adores my sweet treats.
Even though I have baked a ton of sweets over the past 12 months and as a family we have definitely spent more time together at home than ever before, I still want to make this day special.
Part of that is to take time to truly enjoy one another.
With that being said, we all deserve a break. A break from all the craziness we’ve been handed throughout this last year.
A break to slow down, be kind to ourselves, and cherish the celebration of love.
So, forget slaving over the hot oven baking a complicated dessert. It’s time to whip up this delightful edible Valentine Cookie Dough.
Toss in a spoon or two and you’ll be good to go!
This sweet recipe only takes a few ingredients that you probably have in your pantry, plus just a few extra pink things to make it pretty.
It’s stress free and fun.
And literary it only takes maybe 5 minutes to make.
Allowing you more time to relax and savor the moments with that special someone or your family.
And who doesn’t love cookie dough – raw, uncooked, and even better, edible!
Yep, you heard me right.
This Valentine Cookie Dough requires no baking and you can literally indulge in a big scoop the moment it’s done.
The result is soft, creamy goodness! The buttery vanilla base dotted with the milk chocolate M&M’s and the semi-sweet chocolate chips is truly an amazing combination. One that will probably bring you back to your youth when you asked to lick the beaters or bowl when your mom made cookies!
You can even make this recipe all year round, just swap out the Valentine M&M’s for either the regular M&M’s or any other holiday colors you like.
Keep it in the refrigerator for quick snacking (if it lasts that long!), or you can even freeze it!
