Have I mentioned to you that I love hearts? It’s true. And over the years I have collected several heart-shaped pans, so now is the perfect time to use them! I am also crazy for Butterfingers and around Valentine’s Day you can find them as individually wrapped and heart-shaped. Perfect for pressing in the middle of your heart-shaped brownies before they cook. The outcome is a little hidden treasure that will turn your deep rich brownies into love from the heavens above!

Butterfinger Heart Brownies

1 (19.5 oz.) box Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Brownie mix
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup of melted butter
2 eggs
1 package individually wrapped heart-shaped Butterfingers, unwrapped
Confectioners sugar, for garnish

Turn on your oven to 350 degrees. Prepare heart-shaped pans with non-stick cooking spray and set aside. Note this recipe makes about 24 heart-shaped brownies.

In a large bowl add the brownie mix, milk, butter and eggs. With a hand-held electric mixer beat on medium-speed for about 2 minutes. Spoon the mixture into your prepared pans. Place one of the Butterfinger candies on each of the brownies and press down firmly. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until brownies are done.

Cool in pan for about 15 minutes then remove and cool completely on a wire rack. To serve, sprinkle lightly with confectioners sugar.
