Starry Night Cocktail

For me, Christmas Eve is all about wrapping presents and getting everything ready for Christmas Day. You see, at our home, the presents do not go under the tree until Christmas morning. So usually I am up until the wee hours of the morning wrapping like a crazy person! Thank goodness I got all of my baking done yesterday! Christmas Day is spent with my immediate family and then the day after Christmas, my family and friends come over for a fun-filled feast. During Christmas, the entertaining never ends around here — and I would not have it any other way! I love baking, cooking and spending time with the ones I love. So cheers to Christmas! And after spending a long day with your family and friends, don’t forget to unwind with this festive Starry Night Cocktail.

This cocktail is pure creamy deliciousness! Sit back and sip on the delightful blend of cool vodka, sweetly strong coffee and Irish creme along with a hint of cocoa. In no time you’ll be relaxed and happy as you reminisce about the wonder of the day! Or days in my case!

1 oz. Kahlua Coffee liqueur
1 oz. Baileys Irish Creme liqueur

First garnish the rim of your glass by lightly dipping the rim into room temperature coffee or water then dip into cocoa powder. Set aside.

In a shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, coffee liqueur and Irish creme liqueur. Shake until combined and strain into your prepared glass. Place 3 coffee beans on top. Makes one cocktail. Repeat as needed.
