Whether you need to chill out after a long week at work, or from the kids driving you crazy, or maybe you just want to unwind with your girlfriends or husband, here’s a fabulous Pink Power Cosmo that’s perfect for any occasion! No matter which way you look at it, the Cosmopolitan is my all-time favorite cocktail. Not because it’s pink (but I do love that about it too), but because of the way it tastes. The combination of the tart cranberry juice mixed with the cool citrus vodka, sweet Cointreau and tangy fresh lime juice just about sends me over the moon!

Pink Power Cosmo

2 oz. Ocean Spray^® Cranberry Juice Cocktail, chilled
2 oz. citrus vodka, good quality, I like Kettle One Citrus
1 oz. Cointreau (or other orange-flavored liqueur)
1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
Lime knot for garnish

In a cocktail shaker add ice then add all the liquid ingredients. Vigorously shake until well blended. To serve, remove top from shaker and pour into Martini style glass, then add the lime knot.

Note, to make the lime knot garnish — slice a lime into 1/4-inch pieces. Lay the slices down on a cutting board. From the center of each slice, cut the lime through the rind. Gently open the slice and remove the fruit from the rind. Then tie into a knot.
