Cranberry Lime Margarita

Get ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a festive and refreshing margarita.  I put a spin on this traditional cocktail by adding cranberry juice to give it just the perfect combination of sweetness and tartness.

Cranberry Lime Margarita

1 oz good quality tequila
1 oz sweet and sour mix
2 oz cranberry juice
1/2 lime, juiced

With the cut side of the lime, rim of your glass then dip into a mixture of pink sugar crystals and salt. Fill glass with ice. In a blender add all ingredients and blend until frothy. Pour mixture over ice, add a slice of lime for garnish and enjoy!

This makes one drink and is easily doubled.  As well, you can even make a large batch and put into a pitcher and keep in the refrigerator for a party or celebration!

This deliciously pleasing Cranberry Lime Margarita will absolutely quench your thirst at the end of a long hot day!
