We have an abundance of avocados in our markets these days for a great price, so I thought, what better way to celebrate spring and National Chip and Dip Day than to make my quick and easy guacamole dip and serve it with some crisp corn chips. This is my absolute favorite guacamole recipe and on this sunny Saturday it’s the perfect day to share it with you. I make this quite often for my family and it’s also the number one dip I make for parties – especially if it has a Mexican theme! Get your taste buds ready to experience the soft smooth texture of avocado perfectly blended with the crunch and heat of jalapeño, highlighted with tangy lime and coarse salt.
Fast & Fabulous Guacamole Dip
3 ripe avocados
1 large jalapeño pepper
Coarse salt to taste
- Peal the avocados and place in bowl or serving dish.
- Cut the jalapeño in half to remove the seeds, then dice and add to avocado.
- Cut the lime and squeeze over avocados and jalapeño and mash with fork.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
Now get ready to scoop up some of this delicious guacamole with your favorite chips — I love the taste of corn chip scoops with this! You’ll definitely impress your family and friends alike with this foolproof Fast & Fabulous dip! Your bowl will be empty in no time, if serving for a party, be sure to double the recipe! Also, if for some reason it does not get all eaten, save one of the avocado pits to put in the middle, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. It’s also great to use on nachos and fajitas!
